Dear Jacques Cartier,

I’ve been gorging myself on sushi since we arrived in Vancouver. It’s so cheap here, compared to Quebec and much better quality than the sushi in Saskatchewan (if you can even find it there!). Although it seems to always rain on us, it makes the campus nice and green, and the views are always beautiful. It’s nice that were a mixed group of Anglos and Francos.

I want to tell you how you are great with us, because the monitors are so nice and cool with us! Some of them don’t like it when we speak our mother tongue... But I guess that’s what we’re here for, to LEARN :)
